Lara
Hello, my name is Lara Aellen and I have been in education for 15 years. I have taught grades 3-8 and most recently have been an administrator at the middle and high school levels before taking a break to raise my little boy Noah. I love motivating children to learn and grow to their highest potential.
When not tutoring part time, I enjoy MOPS, and spending time with my husband, Paul and cat, Petey. We have been in Arizona for the past four years and just love it. We moved from Maryland and gave away our snow shovels and lawn mowers to the next door neighbors

Deborah
Hi, My name is Deborah Chovan, and I love being with kids. I am in my fourth year at International Baptist College studying Elementary Education. I have been working with kids of all ages for about seven years now, anything from teaching children's programs at my church, to being a nanny, working in a day-care, and even in being a photographer in a children's portrait studio. I think investing in children's lives is the most rewarding experience a person can have.

 Jane
Hi! My name is Jane Starkey.  I am a CUSD mom, as well as teacher. I have a varied background: I was a stay at home mom for many years before entering the teaching profession. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from ASU, and went on to receive my Master's degree in Curiculum and Media Instruction. Most recently, I taught first grade at Conley Elementary School for three years, and before that, I was the librarian at Tarwater Elementary School. I even taught kindergarten for half a year!  This year, my husband and I will be celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. I am always amazed at how quickly time passes when you're having fun! My husband and I are very fortunate - we have four children whom we love greatly: three daughters and one son. We are very proud supporters of Chandler schools, as you can imagine!

Sakina

Hello, My name is Sakina Mohammed. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996 and moved to Arizona the following year when I accepted an engineering position at Motorola. In 2002, after the birth of my daughter, I made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom. It was then that I discovered the joy of being around and working with children. My teaching experiences include tutoring mathematics to students K – 12 and working with my own children at home along with volunteering in their classrooms. I am convinced that a good education is one of life’s greatest gifts and I am looking forward to making your child’s learning experiences positive and enjoyable.
